Although the new Aston Martin Lagonda is clearly more attractive than it's predecessor, it is still not a very attractive vehicle. If I had a choice though, of which one I would own, it would more than likely be the older model. The mere fact that there were only 645 produced between 1974 and 1990 means that it can wear the honored badge of being a collectors item. There seems to only be about 80 or so left in existence and only about 30 actually on the road, so to own one would be having a small piece of Aston Automotive history. Even though I am sure the new model will also be sold in limited numbers as well, the character and design of the original was groundbreaking at the time and thus makes it more desirable to me.
